Steven R. Sylvester Memorial Library
Our library is named in honor of Steven R. Sylvester, a former student of the Bible College. Steven was enrolled at SFBC from 1996 until his untimely death in 2000. The President, along with our Board of Directors, wanted to honor Steven and dedicate the library in his memory.
“You are born into this world innocent and protected
always wanted and never neglected
as the Lord intended His children to be.
What a wondrous system this is and who else could make it so,
but He, our Father God.”

Library Resources & Services
South Florida Bible College & Theological Seminary received $150,000.00 from the Harcourt M. and Virginia W. Sylvester Foundation in honor of Steven R. Sylvester, which has done great strides in making the library into what it is today.
The Steven R. Sylvester Memorial Library opened in May 2007. The library exists to serve the students, faculty, and staff of SFBC. Our library has a physical and online collection of reading materials and a study room with computer stations and wireless internet. Our Library Director is qualified and experienced to help you effectively use the library. We are ready to help you in any way we can in your studies and research. Please ask for assistance at any time. The library has a physical collection of about 10,000 books, is building on its present collection of periodicals, and has an online full-text subscription to many journals. Our collection strengths are Bible, theology, pastoral theology, Christian education, elementary education, psychology, counseling, and business. The budget allows the purchase of needed works. We invite you to explore the library and watch it grow. May the library be part of your growth.
