Dr. Luff and family are originally from North Carolina. He has served with One Mission Society (OMS – Greenwood, IN) since 1994. He and his family were missionaries to S. Korea for 2 1/2 years, and served in the Philippines for 8 years. He has also been involved in missionary activity in India, Myanmar, Singapore, Indonesia and Jamaica. He continues to be active in a teaching ministry to the OMS related denomination in the Philippines. He is currently an Associate Church Multiplication Facilitator working with the OMS "Every Community for Christ" in the Philippines. Dr. Luff also has 30 years of pastoral experience from the United States and around the world. He is currently a recorded minister with the Evangelical Friends Church – Eastern Region, Canton, OH.

Since 1985, he has taught at several Christian Colleges and Seminaries: John Wesley College (High Point, NC), SAIACS (Bangalore, India), Allahabad Bible Seminary (Allahabad, India), Seoul Theological University (Seoul, S. Korea), Faith Bible College (Manila, Philippines), Carolina Graduate School of Divinity (Greensboro, NC), and Myanmar Evangelical Bible College (Yangon, Myanmar). Since 2020, he has served as an adjunct professor at South Florida Bible College and
Theological Seminary, as well as carrying on a teaching ministry in the Philippines with One Mission Society.
