Nilce Moraes serves as Director of Community Christian Counseling since 2011. The agency has one of the longest history in Christian counseling non-for-profit agency in South Florida. Besides individual and couple counseling she co-facilitates a Grief Share support group, as well as, Core Healing support group for women who are survivors of sexual abuse.

She holds undergraduate degrees in Bible and Social Work from Cairn University (1983) and received her masters in counseling from New Jersey State College (1992). In 2005 she made South Florida her home leaving the winters of Pennsylvania behind. She has a genuine concern for those who are hurting and is skillful in helping her clients identify their brokenness and providing them with sound Biblical and professional guidance. Nilce counsels in her mother language, Portuguese, as well as in English and Spanish.

She joined SFBC as an adjunct professor in 1/2016. She believes the Lord brought SFBC to her because the Lord knew her heart better than she did as she has found a new passion in teaching she never knew she had, it is with total confidence in Him that she equips future soul caregivers with the truth of God’s word.
Nilce is one of the coordinators for a new community outreach program VIA- Volunteers In Ariel, Israel. This is an international collaboration to connect two communities together in neighborly love. Volunteers serve in summer children’s camp teaching English to Israeli children.
She has a passion for travel and will go where the Lord leads her as she enjoys serving more than touring. Her life verse is John 3:30- “He must increase, but I must decrease.”
