ABOUT
Karine Melissa began her entrepreneurship journey at the age of eighteen when she began working in her community as a Fashion Show Coordinator. Her roles quickly expanded to Modeling Consultant, Fashion Designer, and Lead Instructor at a popular modeling institution. While working in the community, she developed a passion for philanthropy and positioned herself as a Youth Mentor to inner city teens at her church and local non-profit organizations. Embracing full-time ministry, Karine Melissa accepted the role as Executive Director of a local non-profit organization where she served thousands of youth and families by creating and organizing summer camp programs, mentorship programs, after-school programs, family meal services, financial literacy seminars, and leadership trainings. After years of experience collaborating with organizations, Karine Melissa tackled entrepreneurship head-on.
Karine Melissa created Fashion Designers Expo (FDE), now LOUD™ Love of Urban Design®, a platform to incubate the dreams and aspirations of emerging and thriving creatives. FDE has been featured in ELLE Spain and has opened doors for Karine Melissa including her current position in the World Fashion Organization® as the President for U.S.A World Fashion Brands & Merchandising Group, Inc. and on the World Fashion Week International Committee.
