Dr. Olutoyin Ajayi is originally from Nigeria. She graduated with Bachelors in English (1988), Masters in Teaching (2008), Doctorate in Educational Leadership (2010), and Graduate Certificate in Composition Studies (2019). She received an award from the Oakland City University Symposium for her outstanding research.

Dr. Ajayi has been a higher educator since 2012. She was ordained as a Chaplain, Evangelist, and Sunday school Minister. Some of her services in the church and the community include serving as a Prayer team member at Family Church, participation in girls’ scout meetings, natural helper at the Indianapolis Immigrant Welcome Center, and a member of the International Ministerial Association.
