The Doctoral degrees are
the culmination of Seminary studies. The Doctoral degree is
a professional degree, specifically designed to equip the
prospective student in the areas of Pastoral; Evangelistic;
Missiology; and Seminary teaching ministry, Counseling, and

Doctor
of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Christian Counseling
This program of study consists of forty-two
credit hours of study and counseling practicum. The
student must hold a masters degree in a related field of study
and have a minimum 600 hours clinical experience.
Program Requirements:
1. Forty-two credit hours of
directed and independent studies, which include documented
research and reading of 20,000 pages (a minimum
bibliography of fifty books).
2. Dissertation must be typewritten,
double spaced, and not less than 150 pages, covering a
topic in the student’s field of study.
3. Two thousand (2,000) hours of
internship with a mental health provider; i.e., a licensed
Christian Counselor, psychologist, etc., approved by the
Dean of Graduate Studies.

Doctor of Philosophy
(Ph.D.) in Christian Clinical Counseling
This program of study consists of sixty
credit hours of study and practicum. The student must
hold a masters degree in a related field of study; and have
a minimum of seven years of full-time, paid,
occupational life learning experience related to the
Counseling Major.

and reading of 20,000 pages (a minimum bibliography of

double spaced, and not less than 150 pages, covering a
topic in the student’s field of study.

Seminary doctorate is an academic degree to advance the student's
knowledge in Religion. The student must have a background in
Hermeneutics, Apologetics, Theology, Philosophy, Church
History.

double spaced, and not less than 150 pages, covering a

Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.)
The Doctor of Ministry program is designed
for pastors, counselors, and related full time ministries. The
Doctor of Ministry program is thirty credit hours.
Pre-requisite: a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies.

and independent studies, which include documented research
and reading of 20,000 pages (a minimum bibliography of
fifty books).

(Ph.D.) in Religious Education
This program of study consists of thirty
credit hours of specific and independent studies. The
goal of this graduate program is to prepare teachers and
administrators in the field of religious education. Applicants
are seeking to become teachers and/or administrators in bible
schools or colleges, or in Christian secondary or elementary
education.

and independent studies, which include documented research
and reading of 20,000 pages (a minimum bibliography of
fifty books).
